Please join us to create your own beautiful fall centerpiece using local pumpkins and fresh local flowers and foliage!
We will hold three classes. Saturday October 16th from 1-3. Wednesday October 20th from 4:30-6:30 and Saturday October 23rd from 1-3. Choose whichever day and time works for you!
In this 2 hour hands-on workshop Lodi flower farmer Phoebe Van Vleet of Thistle Flower Farm will demonstrate foam-free flower arranging techniques and talk about how to grow and harvest dahlias as cut flowers.
All materials will be provided, however, if you have them, please do bring gloves and flower snips.
We will be carving out the centers of the pumpkins at the beginning of the class, outside, so please wear something warm. We will move inside for the flower arranging portion of the class, and mask wearing is strongly encouraged for the inside portion of the class.
This class is for those ages 14 and up, and class size will be limited to 8 per date so that we may distance in the classroom.
The class is free but registration is required. Call 607-582-6218 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to register.
This project is made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Regrants program, a regrant program of New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature and administered by Auburn Public Theater.
