Lodi In July (at the library) 7/2

Our library will be joining in the town-wide Lodi In July celebration on July 2nd. We will be open indoors (for our normal time 10-2) and out (10:30-1:30 to give us a little cushion for set up and breakdown).

Outdoors we will be offering outdoor games, water play, MYO Nature Suncatchers, and unicorn sprinklers! There will also be information available about our Summer Reading Program. Puttin on the Mitts Dessert Truck will be parked on our property ready to serve and our friend Gerry Ortego will be performing live music from our front patio.

Additionally- there will be a Chicken BBQ at the Lodi Historical Society! Lodi Town Historian Mark Brown will be providing music and a book sale will be taking place at LHS across the street.

The Lodi Community Garden will be buzzing with activity- ha! They will be offering folks the opportunity to pot up their own common milkweed plant, AND decorate the pot, so that they can help provide food for Monarch Caterpillars. They also will be holding a “fence warming” to celebrate the installation of the new fence that will keep out the woodchuck family, and garden tours will take place to see the many veggies growing for Lodi Food 4 All, and the native plants that serve as pollinators.
