The Lodi Whittier Library is pleased to announce as part of its 2015 Arts and Artisan Series sponsored by the Delavan Foundation:Eastern-Bluebird All About Bluebirds-And More! Instructor: John Rogers Tuesday, March 3 (rescheduled from February 17) from 6:00-7:30 PM Lodi Whittier Library Join us for this special presentation with Bluebird expert John Rogers. Learn about New York State’s official bird, the Eastern Bluebird, with a focus on their nesting cycle and the proper use of bluebird boxes. With visually beautiful photographs, bird sounds, and a sincere, enthusiastic presentation style, this PowerPoint program has delighted and educated people throughout NY State. The presentation includes a free drawing for three bluebird nesting box kits, with additional kits available for $8.00 each. Mr. Rogers maintains hundreds of bluebird nest boxes, and has fledged over 13,000 bluebirds. He travels and teaches to open hearts and minds to bluebirds, other birds, butterflies, wildflowers, and nature appreciation. This class is free, however space is limited.
